Issu de la fusion des termes \u00ab\u00a0inflammation\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0vieillissement\u00a0\u00bb, ce terme englobe l&rsquo;inflammation chronique de faible intensit\u00e9 qui accompagne le processus de vieillissement et qui est \u00e9troitement li\u00e9e au d\u00e9veloppement de maladies associ\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge chez les chiens<a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/biomedgerontology\/article\/69\/Suppl_1\/S4\/587037\">(Franceschi &amp; Campisi, 2014<\/a>). Cette inflammation n&rsquo;est pas une r\u00e9ponse aigu\u00eb et b\u00e9n\u00e9fique \u00e0 une blessure ou \u00e0 une infection, mais un \u00e9tat nocif et persistant qui, avec le temps, peut \u00e9roder la sant\u00e9 et les fonctions.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-causes-ageing-in-dogs\"><strong>Quelles sont les causes du vieillissement chez les chiens ?<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bonza-retheme.blz.au\/2023\/11\/is-their-food-aging-your-dog-unlock-the-key-to-healthier-life\/\">Le vieillissement chez les chiens<\/a>, comme dans tous les organismes, est un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne multifactoriel. Les pr\u00e9dispositions g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques fournissent un mod\u00e8le de long\u00e9vit\u00e9 et de propension aux maladies, mais des facteurs externes tels que l&rsquo;alimentation, l&rsquo;environnement, le stress et le mode de vie jouent un r\u00f4le important dans la trajectoire du vieillissement. L&rsquo;une des caract\u00e9ristiques du vieillissement au niveau cellulaire est le dysfonctionnement des mitochondries, qui r\u00e9sulte des<a href=\"https:\/\/bonza-retheme.blz.au\/fr\/?page_id=51509\"> dommages oxydatifs<\/a> cumul\u00e9s caus\u00e9s par les esp\u00e8ces r\u00e9actives de l&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne (ROS). En outre, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2076-2615\/13\/15\/2457\">le vieillissement alt\u00e8re la fonction des cellules souches<\/a>, essentielles \u00e0 la r\u00e9paration et au maintien des tissus, ce qui entra\u00eene un d\u00e9clin in\u00e9vitable des capacit\u00e9s de r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-chronic-inflammation\"><strong>Inflammation chronique :<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;inflammation chronique chez les chiens peut \u00eatre provoqu\u00e9e par de nombreux stimuli, notamment des infections persistantes, une exposition permanente \u00e0 des toxines environnementales et un stress chronique. Cet \u00e9tat est marqu\u00e9 par la lib\u00e9ration continue de cytokines pro-inflammatoires, m\u00eame lorsque l&rsquo;\u00e9v\u00e9nement d\u00e9clencheur initial est pass\u00e9, et c&rsquo;est une caract\u00e9ristique essentielle de maladies telles que l&rsquo;insuffisance r\u00e9nale chronique chez le chien<a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontiersin.org\/articles\/10.3389\/fvets.2021.621084\">(S Perini-Perera &#8211; 2021<\/a>). Le syst\u00e8me immunitaire reste en phase d&rsquo;alerte, endommageant les tissus au fil du temps et pr\u00e9parant le terrain pour diverses affections li\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-inflammation-and-heart-disease\"><strong>Inflammation et maladies cardiaques :<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chez les chiens, l&rsquo;inflammation est \u00e9troitement li\u00e9e aux maladies cardiovasculaires. Des \u00e9tudes ont montr\u00e9 que les chiens souffrant d&rsquo;insuffisance cardiaque pr\u00e9sentent des taux \u00e9lev\u00e9s de cytokines inflammatoires circulantes. On pense que ces cytokines contribuent au remodelage cardiaque et \u00e0 la d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence des valves cardiaques, des probl\u00e8mes fr\u00e9quents chez les chiens \u00e2g\u00e9s<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/19912520\/\">(Oyama &amp; Levy, 2010<\/a>).  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-inflammation-and-joints-in-dogs\"><strong>Inflammation et articulations chez le chien :<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/bonza-retheme.blz.au\/fr\/?p=52031\">inflammation des articulations, ou arthrite<\/a>, est fr\u00e9quente chez les chiens vieillissants, ce qui nuit consid\u00e9rablement \u00e0 leur qualit\u00e9 de vie. Cette affection se caract\u00e9rise par la d\u00e9gradation du cartilage, qui amortit les articulations, entra\u00eenant des douleurs et une diminution de la mobilit\u00e9. Les cytokines inflammatoires telles que le TNF-\u03b1 et l&rsquo;IL-1\u03b2 sont fortement impliqu\u00e9es dans la pathogen\u00e8se de l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/bonza-retheme.blz.au\/fr\/?page_id=51146\">arthrose canine<\/a>, contribuant \u00e0 la d\u00e9gradation du cartilage et \u00e0 la douleur articulaire. Les cellules microgliales, les cellules immunitaires r\u00e9sidentes du cerveau, deviennent chroniquement activ\u00e9es en r\u00e9ponse aux changements neuropathologiques li\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge, lib\u00e9rant des cytokines inflammatoires qui peuvent contribuer \u00e0 la neurod\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/22720812\/\">(Landsberg et al., 2012<\/a>). Les <a href=\"https:\/\/bonza-retheme.blz.au\/fr\/?p=52405\">antioxydants<\/a> et l&rsquo;enrichissement comportemental font partie des interventions th\u00e9rapeutiques visant \u00e0 att\u00e9nuer la neuroinflammation et \u00e0 pr\u00e9server les fonctions cognitives chez les chiens \u00e2g\u00e9s (Chapagain et al., 2018).  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-inflammation-and-eyesight\"><strong>Inflammation et vue :<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les processus inflammatoires peuvent affecter profond\u00e9ment la vue des chiens, avec des affections comme l&rsquo;uv\u00e9ite et le syndrome de l&rsquo;\u0153il sec (k\u00e9ratoconjonctivite sicca). Ensemble, ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments favorisent un milieu pro-inflammatoire pr\u00e9judiciable \u00e0 la sant\u00e9<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/20005526\/\">(Day, 2010<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-chronic-inflammation-pathways\"><strong>Voies de l&rsquo;inflammation chronique :<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans l&rsquo;enchev\u00eatrement des voies de signalisation \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine de l&rsquo;inflammation chronique, la voie NF-kB se distingue. En outre, les adipokines produites par le tissu adipeux des chiens peuvent favoriser l&rsquo;inflammation et perturber le fonctionnement normal du m\u00e9tabolisme<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0021915011003698\">(Kleemann et al., 2009<\/a>).  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-inflammation-triggers\"><strong>D\u00e9clencheurs d&rsquo;inflammation :<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Divers facteurs li\u00e9s au mode de vie peuvent d\u00e9clencher ou aggraver l&rsquo;inflammation, notamment une mauvaise alimentation, l&rsquo;ob\u00e9sit\u00e9, le manque d&rsquo;exercice, les infections permanentes et le stress psychologique chronique. De nombreux aliments commerciaux pour animaux de compagnie contiennent ces AGE. Pour att\u00e9nuer l&rsquo;impact de l&rsquo;inflammation chronique, il est essentiel d&rsquo;adopter une strat\u00e9gie globale comprenant une modification du r\u00e9gime alimentaire, des soins v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires coh\u00e9rents et le maintien d&rsquo;un mode de vie actif et enrichi pour les chiens.
