Veterinary review at Bonza is collective. Content is authored by Glendon Lloyd, Dip. Canine Nutrition (Distinction), Dip. Dog Nutrigenomics (Distinction), then reviewed by the Bonza Veterinary Board for clinical and nutritional soundness before publication. Rather than crediting a single clinician, we attribute review to the Board as a whole, reflecting the combined veterinary and nutrition expertise behind it. Each reviewed article carries “Reviewed by the Bonza Veterinary Board” in its Editorial Information table, alongside the published date, the last-updated date and the next scheduled review. Meet the Bonza Veterinary Advisory Board
Our Veterinary Advisory Board is made up of three members whose combined expertise spans veterinary medicine, veterinary microbiology and animal nutrition science. Each brings deep experience in companion-animal nutrition and the pet food sector, expertise directly relevant to canine gut health and functional feeding.
J L Tejedor
José is a veterinarian with a doctorate in microbiology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where he carried out research at the VISAVET Health Surveillance Centre. He holds an MBA from IE Business School and is CEO of Grupo Tejedor Lázaro, a Spanish animal nutrition company, having led its pet food research and development for over a decade. His grounding in veterinary microbiology and pet food R&D directly informs our content on the canine gut microbiome and functional nutrition.
C T Lázaro
Carlos is a veterinarian, qualified in Veterinary Sciences at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with an Executive MBA from IE Business School. As Executive Chairman of Grupo Tejedor Lázaro, he brings decades of leadership across animal nutrition and the pet food sector.
